Just my style. Grocery store taqueria. Thought there was only going to be 1 picnic bench inside to eat at but there's 5. Tables were full but we grab a double. Most of the orders weee to go so there was a steady line. Like being able to purchase my own drink of choice with the meal. Good lunch and would recommend

Boom. Wow. Fantastic. I'm a hard taco person in a soft taco world. I love that they break apart and you can have all that spilled goodness after the shell is gone. This place is money. I'd have taken a picture but what do you know I freaking ate it already. Affordably priced, not fancy, just damn good. I'm not even hungry and I'm thinking about another one. (I had the asada btw. Yum)

Wow. Fantastic! Might be the best Huevos Ranchero I ever had. (But I still remember a truck stop in Albuquerque's version from over forty years ago with great fondness). My wife's chicken poodle (pozole, pozole...no poodles were harmed here) was also great and the quantity was as great as the taste. Service? It is in a little market but the service was good, the people are friendly...and did I mention the food is great?! Ambience? Note the location. You are experiencing great food in little market. Three tables inside and more outside in the shade.

I love this place! Sahuayo Taqueria is right in my neighborhood and I come here all the time. I mostly get the al pastor burrito which is great, but the other meats including birria are all awesome as well. I've had their rice and beans which are always good, and they have a nice selection of salsas to go with your food (green, red, habanero, and maybe one more). Grab some free pickled veggies too if they have them! The hospital is right around the corner, so it can get a little busy around the lunch and dinner hours. The staff is always really nice. It's inside a market, so you can grab a drink or anything else while you're waiting for your food. Definitely recommend.

Another great visit. This time, of course got the same Albondigas (meatball veggie soup) and a chicken tamale, and handmade corn tortillas, no extra charge! And looks like they've expanded the outdoor dining area. nice!

My first trip here and I was very impressed and can't wait to return to try more items. I tried the Al Pastor tacos and it was instantly my favorite menu choice, the spices were nice and pork had a nice char and sweetness. It was at times a little fatty but that's to be expected. I also tried the Chile Verde, this was good, second to a place on NE 42nd I go to often for this dish specifically. I also had Ceviche, which was simple, fresh and very satisfying. All & All, I am a fan and will be back to try the breakfast burritos and other items for sure. The only side eye, if you will, was the salsas .. I believe they are not home made but brand named (red sauce tasted like valentina brand) which I happened to like, so no biggy .

Found this place recommended on Eater PDX. Did enough reading up to have an idea of what to expect, but my expectations were pleasantly exceeded. On this Saturday, they were offering Menudo, and having never tried it, jumped at the opportunity. It was amazing. I also noticed that I was not the only customer who ordered it. My partner had the chilaquiles, and they were equally as good. One thing I noticed was a steady stream of customers, many getting takeout, but it is clear they have a loyal following. I also appreciated the customer service. They were pleasant and kind. This is a solid place to go for a good meal and while the setting may throw you off, don't let it detract

yea--probably the biggest hold in the wall you'll ever see but don't let that deter you - the food is excellent and very competitively priced for the area. You can get a whole plate of food for around $10 with big portions also. Customer service is great and there are garden variety options for grab and go alcohol
